Tyre Doctors is in Knoxfield, at 5/1644 Ferntree Gully Road. If you live or work in the suburb, we're the workshop down the road: drop the car off on your way to work, walk back later, or wait in the lounge while we do the job.
Bahram owns the business and looks after the tyre and wheel side. Terry, our master technician, has more than 25 years on the tools and runs the mechanical side.
Tyres and mechanical work under one roof
The name says tyres, but on most days half the cars in here are booked for mechanical work. That means logbook servicing that keeps your new-car warranty, brakes, suspension, diagnostics, driveline and cooling repairs. The same people do your tyres, so nothing gets sent out and nobody has to guess what the last workshop did.
If you've been driving to Bayswater or Ringwood for a mechanic, you've been driving past one.
Dropping in, or dropping off
You don't need a booking for a tyre check or a puncture. For wheel alignments and logbook services, a quick call first saves you waiting. Most of Knoxfield is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the workshop, so plenty of locals leave the car with us and come back when we call.

We fit light truck, van and ute tyres at the workshop, usually the same day for common sizes, and we service the vehicles too. Semis and heavy rigid trucks are the one thing we send elsewhere.
